Arrange Your Own Debt
Consolidation
There are many companies out there that can handle a debt
consolidation for you. Some of them will charge you a fee, and
others won't. However, the fact of the matter is that you have
the ability to handle your own debt consolidation. Not only
that, but it won't cost you a dime.
Debt consolidation is a very simple process. You simply have to
know how much money you need to borrow in order to pay off all
of your debt. Get together all of your bills, your medical
bills, your credit card debt, etc., and add up what you owe.
This is the amount that you need to borrow for your debt
consolidation.
Then you simply need to approach a bank. If you have an
established relationship with a bank go to them first. Simply
make an appointment to see one of their loan counselors and
explain to them that you need a debt consolidation to pay off
your bills. Tell them how much you owe and you will have you
fill out some paperwork as to how much they expect you to be
able to borrow.
Once you are given a debt consolidation loan, you're going to
take that money and pay off all of your other debts. Now you
have one payment each month that you are responsible for. This
new debt consolidation loan will be less each month than you
have been paying because it is spread out over a longer period
time and it is a lower interest rate. This frees up more money
for you each month. You can then take this money and put it into
a separate savings account, or you can pay down the debt
consolidation loan even faster. You should then get rid of your
credit cards, so you're not tempted to ring them up again. Next
thing you know, you will be debt free.
