Stocks Drop, Debt Increases

Most Americans are torn between watching the ins and outs of the stock market on a fairly regular basis - and then there are those that never seem to watch at all. Is it that they have more money than the rest of us so they can afford to lose it all? Or do they just have a much healthier point of view on the stock market?

Whatever their reason, you can be assured that there are those that just don't worry about the stock market. They might be concerned somewhat, and maybe wish that the stock market was doing better so that they were making more money - but they aren't allowing it to ruin their lives.

This point of view is the way most Americans should be looking at it. Debt might increase on a daily basis due to the fluctuations of the market, but there isn't any thing we can do about it except change the way we look at debt. By starting to realize that not making a payment on a credit card is not the end of the world, it gives us the freedom to start looking at our debt from a pro-active point of view instead of one of worry and stress.

By taking out debt consolidations or working with a credit counselor to keep your spending under control - you can take charge of your debt and make some healthy decisions. Decisions based on what is right for you instead of making decisions out of fear.
