Debt Crisis Growing
Debt is a tricky thing, you almost have to have it to get anywhere or anything, but too much of it will get you nothing. The idea that we need debt to get debt is one that our forefathers would have had issue with. We have grown up a nation of people who think that we are due things and when we cannot afford to get them we go into debt over them.
Debt is a black hole that many of us have fallen into, and then struggled to get out of. Then we saw the ladder of debt consolidation and used it to climb out. However, ten there are those that used the ladder to not only climb out but to climb back in again.
Debt consolidation will do nothing for you if you don’t change your habits. Many people get a debt consolidation and then get their lives all organized and they never go into debt that they can’t handle again.
Then there are those that get the debt consolidation and everything is neat and tidy and now they have a little money left over at the end of each month so they take out more credit. They can then get another debt consolidation, and it can continue like that for years.
The only thing that will get you out of this kind of debt is to curb your shopping and spending and work on paying it all off, or declaring for bankruptcy. However, if you choose the latter, you must be careful not to end up where you were for you can only file every seven years.
