Debt Consolidation Business is Booming

Ask any debt consolidation company and they will tell you that business might be bad for most industries but not for the debt consolidation business. Many debt consolidation companies say that they have seen a large increase in the number of people who are inquiring about and applying for debt consolidation loans.

One company says that their client list grew 25% over the past year, another says that they went from 150 clients to more than 450. They know that as things continue to get worse for many people, they will see even more people signing up at their door for debt consolidation in hopes of some relief.

Some debt consolidation companies say that they have had to turn business away because they just can’ handle it. One company said that they singed up more than 1,200 clients last month, and had to start turning them away as they just didn’t have the staff or resources to handle them.

They say that although it is terrible the state that the economy is in, it is good for their business. They know that they have to make their money now off of their debt consolidations, as once the economy turns itself around there will be much less of it. For those companies that are truly not for profit, they say that they just want to see people get back on their feet again. They want to see the economy turned around again.

One company simply said that no business was actually good business, because that would mean that things are turning around.
