Your Health

Many people who are having debt problems or any type of debt free struggle, tend to also have some sort of issue staying in shape. This is not to say that all people who do not have debt free problems are healthy and vice versa, but many times health becomes an issue when you are stressed about finances.

Exercise

Jogging or briskly walking around your neighborhood is free and a great way to blow off steam should you be stressed about anything. Fresh air is a great way to get your self out of the house and into a better way of living physically.

Buy inexpensive equipment

If you are really interested in getting into shape while saving money to lead a debt free life, try purchasing inexpensive work out devices that you can use at home. Even look into buying used equipment. In the long run, this is cheaper than joining a gym with monthly fees. Never buy something you will only use once or minimally.

Joining a gym

If you want to join a gym, be certain you are not buying a long term membership that will lock you in. When you are trying to save money, this is not a good idea. Try joining a gym under a monthly membership or trial period to be certain you like the facilities and you want to continue working out. Shop around for a gym that will serve your needs. Just because the gym is across the street from your house it may not be the one you should join.

Attitude

When you are under pressure with your finances, many times it is not easy to get the motivation to get up and go work out. Some times, people find it a great motivator. Whatever your case may be, you have to maintain your health. With out your health, the struggle to become debt free is almost futile really. Be sure that you are on an even keel in your attitude too. It may not be the most fun thing in the world to work out, but it is a great way to get the stress out of your system and make your life a healthier one in general. Think of it this way, once you have committed to getting better with your finances, why not commit to being healthier with your physicality too. Give it a try.
