Conquering Debt
It used to be that people lived within their means. There were
those that would get themselves into a little bit of trouble and
have to get out of it, but for the most part people simply did
not spend what they did not have. However, at some point we
became a country of excess. Credit cards were flowing like
chocolate at Willy Wonka’s factory and everyone had several of
them at their disposal. Credit cards became like money you
didn’t have to pay back – until you did. There were so many
credit offers coming in the mail on a regular basis that people
just didn’t know what to think – so they got them, and then they
got all of the other things with them. Clothing, shoes,
vacations, cars, etc. – everything purchased on credit.
But now that people are more aware of the credit issues that
they have, many of them are trying to do something about it –
but they might not necessarily know how. A new service called
Mint.com is looking to help those that are seeking to get debt
free but might not know what steps they need to take to do it.
The site is a free resource for those that are in debt and
unable to take care of it on their own.
You can go to mint.com/solutions/debt/ in order to find out what
you need to know about debt consolidation and getting out of
debt in a timely manner – without resorting to bankruptcy.
