Purdue Workshop on Debt Relief
The Perdue University Cooperative Extension Service is offering a
workshop to help those that are interested in debt management. The
workshop will show those in attendance how to better manage their debt
and how to help others do so as well. The workshop will help those who
are looking to help others and might be in various banking fields, debt
consolidation programs, educators, church counselors, etc. as well as
those that are currently in debt and looking for assistance for
themselves.
On Thursday, March 26th, the debt management workshop will be held at 6
pm, in Ivy Hall, Room 1106. It will be on the Lafayette Campus of Ivy
Tech Community College. They will be discussing topics related to credit
counseling, debt management, debt consolidation, negotiation, and
judgment proof plans. They say that it should be enlightening for anyone
who is either looking to get into the business of helping those that
have debt issues, as well as for those who currently have issues that
they are working on.
The idea is that those that are in debt need assistance in getting out
of debt either through debt consolidation or any one of a ton of other
plans. Whether it is those people that attend the workshop, or someone
who ends up helping them attends it, either way they are getting the
assistance that they so desperately need.
They are going to have a panel of debt experts that will discuss the
various options that are available out there, as well as be able to
answer any questions that people might have for them in regards to debt.
They will even have attorneys there that will be able to assist you with
legal questions should that be necessary.
