Credit Card Reforms
There are a lot of reforms coming down the pike when it comes to
credit card companies as they are being forced to stop taking
advantage of their consumers. There are two lawmakers that have
been behind this new credit card legislation, they are Senator
Chris Dodd and Representative Barney Frank, and they are bound
and determined to see the nation recoup its losses, and that
includes the ones that the credit card companies have
perpetrated upon their clients.
They say that they expect the law to be signed by the 4th of
July, but in the mean time there are many that are still
suffering with their debt and are not sure what to do. These
reforms cannot come soon enough for these people as they are
drowning in their debt. This is where debt consolidation can
come in and help them out. Quite often these people just need a
little help getting organized and streamlining their payment
process each month.
They are also of the ability to pay if they have less to pay out
each month, and a debt consolidation can do that as well. If
there are problems with the amount of money that they are
charging you monthly in your interest rates, a debt
consolidation can reduce that s well. It is probably in your
best interest to get one now while you are still able to keep up
your bills. Once they get ahead of you it can be even tougher to
get a debt consolidation, and your options become more limited
as to how you might get your debt taken care of.
