Hope Financial Sets the Record Straight
There have been phone calls lately from a company that says that they
are working on behalf of the debt consolidation company Hope Financial –
however, they aren’t. Hope Financial is not responsible for these phone
calls and they want their clients to be aware of this so that they don’t
get taken in some sort of scam.
Hope Financial is one of the leading providers of debt consolidation and
credit card debt consolidation services. However, there has been a
company pretending to be the debt consolidation company that is not only
not them – but it is not associated with them in any way. They have
issued a consumer advisory alert to inform the public about these scam
artists.
The fake debt consolidation company is reporting that they are
associated with Hope Financial and are offering them services over the
phone to “help” them out – and are charging them over the phone by
credit card for their debt consolidation services. Hope Financial wants
it to be very clear that they are not associated with the calls, and
wants consumers to take note of who called them.
They are asking consumers to be aware and to realize that they offer
debt consolidations, but they do not offer interest rate reductions, nor
do they take payments of any kind over the phone through credit cards.
They are asking that if you have been contacted by this fake debt
consolidation company that you report them to Hope Financial – telling
them the number that called you, the name of the person that called, the
time of the call, and any telephone number that they may have left on
your answering machine. The numbers usually come from a 770 area code –
