Full of Gas

Gas prices keep going up with little to no relief in sight. We started seeing minor drops in prices, but with summer here and vacation time imminent, experts claim that the price will drop very little if at all over the summer months.

The national average for gasoline is approximately $2.87 a gallon. This is up from roughly $2.06 last summer. Quite a large difference when you figure it out per tank full. Last summer it cost you roughly $24.72 for a 12 gallon tank of gas. This summer it will cost you at least $34.44, a difference of almost $10 each time you stop at the pump.

Columbia, South Carolina has the lowest gas prices in the country at the moment, coming in around $2.60 a gallon. Hawaii comes in dead last at $3.58 a gallon.
