The Dollar vs. The Euro

The dollar is swiftly losing its fight against the tide of time. The dollar has become such a distant contender that everything in Europe is two to three times what it would cost on our side of the ocean. Not only that, but we find gas prices to be astronomical here, in Europe they are even higher.

Now that airlines are flying pretty much anywhere for better and better deals, Americans are traveling much more than they used to. But the money you save on the travel you will more than make up with the money you spend over there if you don’t spend wisely.

Financially plan every aspect of your trip and you won’t end up leaving having run up a mound of debt. Do your research to find the better prices, the better times for eating, drinking, etc., and the better times to travel – off season rates are still a bargain.  ■
