How to Get and Stay Debt Free

As the economy plummets, everything gets to be more expensive. Most people are focusing on the price of gasoline – but everything is more expensive. Food especially has gotten to be so expensive that weekly groceries for a family of four can run you around $300 a week.

What if you knew that you could feed that same family of four for only $82 a week and thus save yourself some money and keep yourself from getting into debt just trying to feed your kids? Well, it is possible, and Stephanie Nelson should know – she does it.

Nelson has made food shopping an experience – an adventure in getting the best prices for her dollar. She enters the store with a clipboard and a printout of what she has to purchase. She has a list of the price that she will pay for it, and if it is over that price – she’s not buying it.

Between sales and coupons, she will purchase almost $70 worth of groceries – and pay $28.83 for them. With debt soaring for many people, and more of them looking for various ways to get debt free – Nelson says that you need look no further than your grocery bill to save you some money.

She has a free website – CouponMom.com that shows people the deal that they can get after she does the research. She covers many of the deals out there and passes them on to her readers. It is well worth taking a look to get you debt free as well.
