Mortgage in the UK

The gross mortgage lending figures to individuals are now in for May, and show the highest figures on record.  The mortgage lending figures have increased 27% since last may, and are up 18% from the month before. April.

This increase in lending activity shows that though the numbers are still lower than previous years, the mortgage market appears to be healthy. ■
