U.S. investors are finding that cash is a better alternative for their investments.  A recent survey by HSBC Bank USA indicates that the majority of investors surveyed with at least 1 million dollars to invest are considering cash.

U.S money-market funds are considered a low-risk investment, and investors often use these instead of cash.  This trend is steadily growing in the U.S. over the past year, and investments have risen to over $2 trillion.  ■
