Give Me Your Money

Identity theft being what it is in this country, credit card companies have gotten smarter and smarter about what you charge on your card. They have ways of tracking your spending so that when you purchase a pink convertible or 50 buckets of chicken, it raises a red flag. They know that someone else is probably using your card illegally.

Because of the way credit card companies are now handling their consumers accounts, scammers have had to get more inventive on how they rob you of your money. They just take it out of your bank account. Once they have your bank account number, they can go into your account and take what they want. It is very easy for them. But they are lazy, so they have an even better way of doing it – they have you send it to them.

They find who has enough money to make it worthwhile for them, and then run the scam on the unsuspecting victim. They use many ways of doing this, including legitimate businesses like PayPal to get you to send them your money. Any company that tells you that you must use direct withdrawal from your bank account, a wire transfer, or even sometimes PayPal is probably a scam, steer clear!
