Consolidate Your Credit Cards Before It is
Too Late
You have probably heard the saying that a rolling stone gathers
no moss. However, the rolling stone that is your debt will
actually continue to grow unless you stop it. It is so easy for
debt to snowball that one day you have one credit card with $15
on it and the next thing you know you have six cards and owe a
total of $15,000. It sounds too terrible to be true, but every
day in America someone is waking up and wondering what the heck
they did to get themselves in the mess that they are in
financially.
This is where a debt consolidation can come in to help you with
your problems. If you take all of your bills and add them up you
will get a pretty good idea of what you need to pay back. Some
loans will have pay off amounts that are different from what you
owe, but you can get a pretty good idea from what you are paying
out, etc. Then go to your bank and ask for a debt consolidation
loan to pay off all of that debt, and get rid of all but one
card.
This is your emergency credit card and it should have a very low
interest rate. You can use this card for only the most absolute
worst moments, when you have no other choice. You can get a debt
consolidation loan for the first time you rack all of your
credit cards up, and you might even be able to get a debt
consolidation for the second time, but if you are not
responsible with your money you will find yourself in over your
head where even a debt consolidation cannot help you.
If you know that you cannot be responsible with the one credit
card get rid of it. It really is that simple. If you want to
live a debt free life – then get a debt consolidation and pay
off all of your debt. Then never purchase anything you can’t pay
cash for and you will be able to live that way for the rest of
your life.
