Credit Card Consolidation
There are things you can do to help yourself out of the debt
that you are in. You can pay off your bills and not rack up any
more of them. You can declare bankruptcy and not pay your bills
and start from scratch. You can simply ignore it all and hope it
will go away. Now, look at your choices and see which one might
make the most sense.
Ignoring your bills will never make them go away. The sad fact
of the matter is that you have debt that you probably can’t
handle – so you have to figure out a way to handle it. Ignoring
it only causes more interest and late fees to go on, and it
eventually puts you in a court room or with a judgment or
something against you. Not really a good option.
Declaring bankruptcy should be considered a last ditch effort.
If you have tried everything else – including debt consolidation
– and you really cannot figure out what you are going to do –
then go ahead. Your credit will take a big hit for the next 7-10
years, and it will be tough to get any future credit without a
co-signor of some kind.
Debt consolidation however, answers all of your problems. If you
are having a hard time paying out a bunch of credit cards at
high interest rates and fees – get a debt consolation. The rate
will be lower and the stress will be relieved, Instead of
worrying about several bills you can simply pay the one each
month until you are debt free. The payment is usually lower than
what you have been paying so you can put the extra money away
for a rainy day or you can pay down the debt even faster – your
choice!
