You Can Get Out of Debt

When you are under a heap of debt, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and alone. However, there are options for getting debt free, and there are people and companies out there that are set up for such a situation.

In the case of most people, they are facing several credit cards and trying to make the minimum payment on each of them each and every month. However, my making the minimum payment they are setting themselves up for failure.

The biggest reason for this failure is the high interest rates that most credit cards charge. When you are paying the monthly payment, you are paying mostly interest with very little going towards the balance. This is how the credit card companies keep you in debt.

However, with a debt consolidation, you take all of the credit cards and you pay them off. This allows you to have the same amount of debt, but at a lower interest rate – thus enabling you to pay more of the principal off instead of just paying interest.

You will find credit card interest rates as high as 35% - but with a debt consolidation that amount is significantly less. You are usually looking at somewhere around 9-11% - which means thousands of dollars of savings for you over the life of the loan.
