Care One Credit Counseling

According to Economy News, there is a debt consolidation company out there that is not necessarily what they are advertising themselves to be. They allege that Care One Credit Counseling is making a lot of promises to their clients, but they are not always living up to what they say that they are going to do. They say that the company is advertising things that they will do for you and those things are not always the case.
 
Care One says that they can eliminate debt in a way that you cannot. They allegedly maintain that they have skills and services that they provide that the normal consumer cannot do on their own. They also claim to be able to get you a lower monthly payment on your debt consolidation by lowering the amount of debt that you have with the companies that you owe.
 
The problem is that neither of these statements are really true. They do not do anything that you cannot do on your own. We have often maintained that debt consolidation is something any one can do unless they choose not to do it. Otherwise you have the ability to call your creditors and handle your debt on your own. There is nothing that Care One or any other debt consolidation agency can do for you that you cannot accomplish on your own if you are willing to work.
 
There is also the fact that they are going to lower the amount of debt that you have, and the report alleges that this is not true. They are sometimes able to cut the interest rate that you are getting – again, something you can do yourself – but they are not actually eliminating your debt. It appears that your payment is less and it is if you have a lower rate, but the company quite often is not eliminating any of your debt in return.
